We have changed hosts to MERC Host, they are our sponsors, they kindly gave me free webspace for this site.  MERC Host is a pretty good hosting company, they are small, but that seems like an advantage since they can offer better support than the bigger hosting companies, they seem to believe like me as well, that everyone should have a website, the article I wrote about that earlier in this thread.  They took care of my transfer for free, and this site was only down for a bit, I didn’t even notice it actually, a friend told me it was down just for a bit until DNS resolved and everything.  They offer free script installs, which is a huge bonus, for example they would install this WordPress site for free and even help setting things up for you.  I know the popularity of people hosting there blogs on those free websites, but the draw back is that, it’s a long URL, you don’t own the space, they can go under anytime.  So I suggest always buying your own web host space, never use the free stuff.   So go check out our sponsors, they are a real good hosting company!
