Lots of people are going to disagree with me on this, but I personally think facebook is one of the worst spyware you can find on the Internet.  Why?  Well its simple, you are asked to put all your personal information and pictures into this site that anybody can access, even advertisers.  Facebook was made to make money as anything else is, and advertisers know that they have the ability of advertising to all these people, with specific advertisements, since they know where they are from, they know your name, they know who you look like, and they know what you do in regards to your pictures and comments.

I was browsing the Internet around a week ago on google search, which I use all the time, and during some search pages I noticed a different google page, not the google page we are use to seeing.  Right as I saw this, I thought, I got some spyware, and my browser’s google page got modified.  I quickly cleared the cache, ran virus scans, spyware programs, nothing found.  Then I did a search on google “new google design” and came to this link http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Web+Search/thread?tid=2b617300e762035c&hl=en I thought wow, why hasn’t google added a little bit of text on the top informing people on this update, I bet a lot of people got confused like me seeing this new look!

EULA (End User License Agreements), everyone has clicked the “I Agree button” when installing software, the question is who reads all that fine print and who cares about it, I have to admit I don’t.  The bad thing about User License Agreements referred to EULA as now on in this post, is that spyware companies, any companies are using it as a contract, when you click I Agree button, it is just like signing a paper in real life, you are agreeing to the terms in the agreement to use the software.  Of course EULA’s are needed in programs since they, protect the company of the program from any liability from damages, such as data loss, and copyright terms and much more.  Remember not all EULA’s are bad and they protect the developers of the program and company from liability.
