Adblock Plus Review

Adblock Plus is the best add-blocking program there is, it is a add-on for FireFox, and it works great, I don’t think there is any ad-blocker better than Adblock Plus. Adblock removes ALL ad’s from web-pages you visit, it does a great job. It also updates frequently blocking ads that are missed, and it has the function of blocking the ads that it has not blocked, very rare that ad’s get through this, but if they do you can block it easily. If the site has a lot of ad’s it will take a little longer to load than usual, since its adblock working at getting rid of those ad’s, but if you think about it, its worth waiting that extra time to not see those annoying popup’s and click here now you have won. It is a fact that ad’s is the main cause of spyware, ad’s put tracking cookies in your computer and try to find out what you surf and display the relevant ads to you, and the ad’s also discover your geographic location telling them which ad’s would be the best to display to you. So blocking these ad’s will help secure your computer in the long run.
The installation process is easy, I actually found that in the latest release of FireFox you go to Tools – Add-ons you will find it right there, or you can easily put in the search “Adblock Plus” and it will search for it then click install, and it will make you restart the browser for it to work, It’s that easy! It’s very customizable it has many features, you will find the control panel for it on the right hand side, if there’s a website that you do want to see the ad’s on you can just tick Disable ads on this page, which it will only disable ads on that site or you can temporarily turn it off. The downfall to this program is that it is only available for FireFox, not IE, so if you are using IE this program will not work, it is strictly just for FireFox. Another thing I forgot to mention is that when the install is complete it asks you which area you reside in, this is because adblock knows that ad’s display in geographic location, for example you will not get local European ad’s if you are from Canada, so that is why its important to pick the appropriate location in order for it to completely block ads. Another great feature is that it blocks the ad’s silently, you do not need to click on confirm this block or this or that. I have to say its really sensitive though, I have a couple ad’s on the site here to help pay for the web hosting, but when I visit those websites it makes it completely white and not looking correctly, so it’s like they have blacklisted the site’s Adblock, but what i do is I just disable it on the site option.

Well if ad’s bother you, and you are tired of seeing them I suggest you get this must have add-on for FireFox, it is free and it works great, I have used many Pop up Blockers in the past, but nothing has came close to this.
