A review on Razer Copperhead mouse

I play a lot of FPS (First Person Shooter Games) games online, and some people online sometimes think I cheat, because of my ability to quickly aim. I always tell them that I am using a Razer Copperhead mouse, but some of them do not know what it is.

The Razer Copperhead mouse is a very fast, 2000 dpi mouse using the 1000Hz Ultra-polling with 1ms response time. It even includes 32KB on board memory to save “profiles”. The reason it has profiles is because it has the option of changing the DPI (speed settings) on the fly for whatever you might be doing, such as sniping or playing aggressive. The mouse is wired, which I always recommend for a mouse used in gaming, because in the past I had a problem with a Microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard which would sometimes cut out and have a slow delay time, so always use a wired mouse! It is connected by USB but if you’re computer does not support USB you can buy USB adapters that will convert it to that port you need.

The design of the mouse is great, it has lights on the side going all around, and a small Razer logo on the front that flashes. The mouse is small, with a nice grip design that makes sure it doesn’t slip in the heat of battle. It also has buttons on the side that allow you to change the speed of the mouse on the fly. One thing that I recommend that nobody should do, when they first get the Razer Copperhead, is to look at the laser, underneath, you will not be able to see it, and it may damage your eyes! The mouse is very sturdy, I have owned it for 1year, and it still works like it came out of the box, even on Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit.

One warning with this mouse is that it will take some time to get use to it, the speed is very quick, for example I only have to move my mouse hardly any (1inch approx) to the left or right and the mouse is already on the other end of the screen. The great thing about this is that it is great for gaming, and also it doesn’t require as much hand stress to surf the Internet or doing things with applications since your hand does not have to move in awkward direction so far.

Another item that I recommend when purchasing the Razer Copperhead, which I did was to buy a new mouse pad, the current mouse pad you have is probably not that great, just a standard small mouse pad, which is okay, but not good when you have this great mouse. I suggest buying the Razer Exactmat, which is a mouse pad that is amazing. It has 2 sides, one for speed and control, it is non-slip, anti-reflective surface with a abrasion-resistant anodized aluminum hard coat. It is also very pretty large, more larger than your standard mouse pad. It costs around $30, but it is worth it because it is very sturdy and it will never break or wear out and you will have a cool looking mouse pad and mouse.

Well this is exactly my setup of my mouse/mouse pad that I have, and I can tell you I am very happy with it. I have been using it for almost 1year. A lot of people don’t realize that the mouse can make a difference on your game, that is why most professional gamers use these products because they do make a difference.

I have included the links to purchase the items i mentioned above for your convenience.
